Easley Boys of Dorchester, Nebraska

What sounds like more fun then getting to go out with daddy to help check pivots and farm the corn? Nothing! Just ask these two little helpers!

This year I’m focusing back on what sparked my photography joy and started me down this path that has been such a blessing. I’m focusing on highlighting our local farmers and ranchers around the Nebraska area and the families that work hard to keep the agricultural industry alive.

The Easley boys are the cutest little farm boys that live on their family farm near Dorchester, Nebraska. I’ve know their mommy and daddy for years and I’ve been lucky enough to watch Grayden and little Landry grow up their entire lives! I had asked them to help me with a special project of capturing farm life in Nebraska. These boys I think sum up exactly what joy it is to live in rural towns and I love how eager little Grayden is to help daddy with chores. He told me all about dad planting with his John Deere planter, about how they have to check pivots in the summer and even mentioned maybe getting to ride in the combine again this fall! He also had to show me all around his yard, making sure to point out the “big” tractor that daddy brought out for us and then paying special attention to the grain bins. Grayden really wanted to take a picture with an old grain wagon so I of course agreed and told him it was super cool! 😉
