Lizzie Kubicek is a high school senior at Wilber-Clatonia High School here in Wilber, Nebraska who is the sweetest most kind girl I’ve gotten to know through the years. She is such a determined and hard worker and I am so proud of her for overcoming everything that is thrown her way. She is always smiling, for sure is the type of person that walks into a room and can brighten everyone’s day and the one thing I love the most about Lizzie, is that she’s always willing to volunteer and lend a hand if someone needs something.
Lizzie is active in FBLA, is in National Honor Society, Student Council, Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, is an elementary teacher’s aide, and is active in volleyball as well as so many other things.

Lizzie was one of my Class of 2019 senior reps and did an awesome job helping me out when I needed something. She for sure brought laughter to our sessions and I absolutely adore her sense of style. She planned out all her own outfits and clearly I wish I could keep her around just to help style myself and my future seniors!
At Lizzie’s session we choose one of our farms located near Dorchester, Nebraska and went with a super earthy vibe. Not over the top “farm” feel but more nature and just boho vibes. She wore some amazing outfits like the jean skirt with the perfect yellow floral shirt that coordinated perfectly with the wild flowers we found in late summer. The sun was setting so perfectly that evening and I swear it’s what us photographers dream of! 😉
She also wore a beautiful white flowy long sleeved shirt that had dainty lace details in it. Paired it up with some cute Steve Madden wedge sandals and distressed denim jeans it was amazing for the white flowers we found and ideal with tall grass. I’m totally serious when I say she did amazing with the outfits.
I always suggest to my seniors to grab a few tops to swap out during your session for a quick change and that’s exactly what Lizzie did. She also brought the most pretty soft green tank again, with great lace details, that flowed and looked gorgeous when we put her with that rustic car.
For senior sessions I love clothes that all flow together and give off the same vibes. I like that Lizzie went with flowing and neutrals. When we mix all the final images together in an album, they look stunning together! If you have too many different styles mixed in, sometimes it can get overwhelming and the overall feel of the session doesn’t flow as nicely. Lizzie did perfect combining all the outfits to function together.
I asked Lizzie what she thought of her experience and here are her words:
“Working with Kelsey was absolutely amazing!! She had so many great ideas and gorgeous locations! I was very comfortable and always laughing and LOVED how the pictures turned out! There was never a dull moment and Kelsey is such a genuine and hilarious person. :)”
So there you have it, even Lizzie LOVED spending time with me, almost as much fun as I had with her 😉
Thank you Lizzie for trusting me with your precious senior memories. You session for sure went down as a favorite and I am so proud of who you’ve became. I’ve known you forever, and watching you come to events with your mom as a pre-teen to seeing you bloom into a beautiful young lady, I have no doubt you’ll go on to become successful in any career path you choose. Lizzie is going to the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and will be studying elementary education. I know she’ll be fantastic being a future teacher! 😉 Keep doing you girlfriend, you’re a true leader!
