JAMES || LINCOLN SOUTHWEST HIGH SCHOOL | NEBRASKA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

Being a photographer near Lincoln, Nebraska I sometimes dip into a new client genre. Most of my senior sessions are held with farm or nature as the scenery so when I get a request for downtown Lincoln, I’m totally down for it! Lincoln, Nebraska sunsets are equally as magnificent as our sunsets out here in small town Nebraska.

Senior Portraits at St Paul Methodist Church in Downtown Lincoln, NE

Our first stop for James’ senior session was at the St Paul Methodist Church in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska. I was so excited to check out this stunning historic church because he’d mentioned how much he was involved with the church. I love that he choose something that was sentimental to him for a location to celebrate his senior pictures. It was unique, and definitely gave us a great opportunity to snap some shots of something so special to him. I also like how James choose to wear a suit for all of his pictures. He’s huge into being on the debate and speech teams so this was so perfect for him! And he looks so stylish in a suit!

DOWNTOWN HAYMARKET SENIOR PICTURES

After we shot senior pictures at the historic, St Paul Methodist Church in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska we snuck over to the Railyard area. I typically don’t shoot much in the Haymarket area because I feel it’s over saturated but we went knowing trains were important to his grandpa. It was so worth it too!!

Down in the Railyard area we shot with the train depot being incorporated into the pictures. His grandpa loved trains so this was so much fun to surprise him with for him to display! We also hit up some more urban settings for his senior pictures. I think it was the perfect mix of urban that really brought out James’ personality and character.
