Katie came to me with the idea of ice cream and tall “white” buildings. I nodded questioning it at first, but I love giving my high school seniors what they want. So, I jumped in ready to tackle something new and different than my normal sessions. Little did I know, it wouldn’t disappoint!! Katie created the most gorgeous images and I LOVED the combo we came up with!
My favorite thing about senior sessions is getting to know my seniors. When you live in Nebraska, you can almost bet by talking to someone you have something in common or know some who knows the same person as you. It’s my favorite part of my job! And when I meet seniors from Crete, Nebraska I know we’ll have a TON in common with each other!
Being a photographer near Lincoln, Nebraska I sometimes dip into a new client genre. Most of my senior sessions are held with farm or nature as the scenery so when I get a request for downtown Lincoln, I’m totally down for it! Lincoln, Nebraska sunsets are equally as magnificent as our sunsets out here in small town Nebraska.
I’m so excited to meet the Class of 2022 already!! It’s scary to think it’s time to start booking seniors again, but it’s always such a joy hearing all of their visions and learning about what they’re excited about for their senior year! I thought it’d be fun to do a throwback of Brianna’s senior pictures from last summer to give you some inspo. Here in Nebraska the wild sunflowers always give us a gorgeous pop of color that we take advantage of for senior portraits. Being a Nebraska Senior Photographer truly has it’s perks, and meeting stunning teens is one of them!
Stuck on what to wear? We’re here to help! Here are some of my favorite tips and tricks to help you guide your outfit choices! Choosing what you will wear for your photo shoot is a huge decision that can make or break your senior portrait session! I know that sounds dramatic… but, if you accidentally wear something that isn’t flattering on camera or something that you don’t feel confident in…it can ruin the experience for you! So, here are some of the best ways to choose what to wear.
Our absolute favorite things for senior sessions is tractors, puppies and sunsets. And luckily for us, a lot of our seniors love those same things here in Nebraska!! When you book your senior pictures with us, we do our best to listen to what you want from your session and pull the overall vision together. Our job is to highlight your favorite things and incorporate the “pretty” pictures your grandma wants. We truly are catering to three different audiences when it comes down to taking portraits.
It’s time to start thinking about booking your senior photo session so I thought I’d do a fun throwback of Bree’s senior pictures from this past fall! As a photographer in Nebraska, there are so many wonderful things I get to do, but my favorite part of my job is sitting down with me seniors to view their pictures after I’m done editing for them.
I love getting to get my senior rep team together to do fun stylized sessions! One that I’ve been hoping we could do this year was get snow pictures taken with our senior girls! Thankfully, Nebraska weather pulled through and gave us some snow that looked beautiful and stuck around long enough for us to get together. The girls were fantastic with pulling together outfits that matched perfectly. I am so happy that I have something fun for local senior girls to do together and it’s always exciting watching them interact with each other. This session my favorite part was watching them toss snowballs around and giggle as we all tried not to slip on the ice!

Class of 2020, your senior year is officially halfway over. This year has been less than traditional, but don’t let that rob you of all your high school memories! I promise we can maximize those “lasts” and soak up all the good things. Take your best friends out for a cruise night, play those senior pranks on your parents, stay up all night doing movie marathons with your team mates. You seriously have less than TWENTY weekends left until you graduate. Do all the things. Make all the memories.
