Cassidy is a senior at Crete High School and her personality is bigger than her smile! She’s full of kindness and her style is on point! Nebraska senior pictures is all about working with your surroundings, and we did just that all while incorporating her style and bringing out cheery spirit with the nature that surrounds us.
I love getting repeat families and the Meinke crew is part of that! I shot Cassidy’s sisters pictures a few years ago and it’s such a joy when families come back because they had a great experience in the past. For Cassidy’s pictures I wanted to make sure we incorporated something that would flow with her sister’s pictures for their home but also give her something completely different and all her own.
We started the day by shooting at a creek. This year the drought is really killing things and by luck we found one that still had a little bit of flowing water. There’s something magical about river senior pictures and here in Nebraska, sometimes it’s hard to find water locations that look nice. We climbed down and patiently waited for the sunlight to come back out from clouds and bam, complete, utter magic. Cassidy lit up and the results were stunning senior portraits. We then buzzed over to a gravel road with a fun tree canopy to snag some cute more candid style shots of her. There’s something so fun about free flowing shots of seniors that bring out their personality and make them giggle. It’s a simple way to make them feel relaxed and moving in their session.
Nebraska Senior River Pictures
After that river area and road area we opted for a more nature senior session vibe. Something as simple as shaded grass can truly be enchanting. She wore a cute pink dress that made her look beautiful and the light truly brought out her quirky smile! The dress she wore really popped and I loved the details in it! You can snag a similar one from Amazon here. The dress was the perfect pop of color and complimented her skin tone and beautiful red hair stunningly. Bonus, the pink dress popped in that location against the natural green grass.
Then we buzzed over to one of our favorite farms and shot some more senior portraits. I love when seniors incorporate their high school activities that they’ve participated in. Cassidy brought her cheer uniform to wear because she’s a cheerleader for Crete High School. She also brought her FFA jacket which turned out so cute with a cattle fence and big white barn in the background! We then finished up her session at sunset with some cute pictures in front of grain bins with her bell bottom jeans, boots and a fun graphic tee.
I loved every single detail about Cassidy’s senior session. She took the time to really curate the cutest outfit and it paid off big time with the locations we choose for her
