Lincoln Downtown Haymarket Senior Pictures || Best Lincoln, Nebraska High School Senior Photographer

Senior portraits are so special and they need to be created to highlight the personality of the senior. For Syerra’s senior portraits we choose a place she loves to visit and incorporated her favorite outfits to create a magical sesh she’ll never forget. We met in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska at the Haymarket area for her senior pictures. I loved that she specifically decided to stop at Ivanna Cone for pictures because everyone needs a mid-sesh ice cream cone 😉

I’m so excited to share this Lincoln, NE senior session with you today! When the Peterson Family reached out about senior photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them! There’s something so special about high school senior sessions. I’ve always been a fan of making senior portraits as unique as them and I think we nailed it with Syerra’s senior year!

Downtown Lincoln NE Senior Session

I have worked with Syerra and her mom throughout the entire process leading up to her senior year. Syerra applied to be a senior rep this past winter and we’ve shot several sessions throughout the early spring and summer before doing her own senior pictures. We worked side by side curating the perfect outfits as well as choosing locations that closely matched her personality for both of her sessions. For her senior pictures we ended up booking two dates. One in the summer and one in the fall. For her fall senior pictures we went downtown in Lincoln, Nebraska to the Haymarket area. Since she is from Lincoln, she of course wanted to incorporate part of her city for pictures to remember. We did do a few of the iconic Haymarket locations like in art alley and a few side streets but then we buzzed over to a parking garage to snag a few shots of the sky line. It was so beautiful and I’m so happy we got to take her senior pictures there.

To the Peterson Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and it was great getting to know you guys better. I can’t wait to see you again in a few short years when you have another senior in your household!
