Senior year of high school is a special time, full of excitement and milestones to celebrate. One of those milestones is taking senior portraits. For Bella, a senior at Burke High School in Omaha, Nebraska, the opportunity to capture this moment in her life was unforgettable. Bella and chose to have her pictures taken in the springtime, when nature comes alive with fresh colors and textures. She also selected a location that would showcase the beauty of the Nebraska landscape, one of our private exclusive farms here near Wilber, Nebraska.
The location for Bella’s senior picture session was chosen to reflect nature she really wanted to be surrounded by. We started in a field with tall grasses that would offer a stunning backdrop, especially during sunset. We wanted to incorporate Bella’s fashion choices into the setting, so I suggest some pastel outfits that would stand out against the grasses. The result was a series of stunning shots, with Bella’s colorful outfits contrasting beautifully with the golden hues of the sunset.
The second location we chose was a charming little barn that was perfect for capturing a classic country look. We were able to capture some fantastic close-ups as well that really focused on her personality and fun stylish outfits.
Finally, we ended the session with some photos of Bella in her cap and gown. This was a sentimental moment, capturing the last few days of her high school career. I love that she decided to include her cap and gown, it’s such a fun milestone that often gets overlooked!
