Sweet girl Jackie, you’ve are so kind, so full of life, and seriously, the most stylish girl I know! She was one of our senior reps this past year and I had so much fun with her on our team. I love how she’s full of encouragement for the other girls and she’s always so active and involved in our community with events. Hands down, one of my favorite qualities in other people is their willingness to volunteer and this girls got it!! XOXO
Jackie goes to Wilber-Clatonia High School here in Wilber, Nebraska and lucky for me, I get to also call her my neighbor so I’ve gotten to know her through the years even closer! 😉
Jackie is a super active girl like I mentioned earlier. She’s involved in Student Council, FBLA, TCBY, One Act, Tennis, NHS, Band, and Jazz Band. Seriously, I don’t know of an activity that she’s NOT involved in! That girl is always so busy and I admire her focus on being involved.
For her fall session we decided to mix it up and head to Crete, Nebraska and check out some local sites over there. I knew she was wanting a more modern/urban vibe for her senior pictures so we went with something that Doane University could offer us! We walked around to find beautiful berry trees on campus and then stopped over by their more industrial things like concrete bridges and their gorgeous fall colored trees with bright orange leaves. I was totally impressed with her sense of style and how we mixed up the modern looks with some classics.
Then, after we got done with those outfits/locations we got to my favorite part of her session. We pulled out the neutral toned clothing and made it feel totally boho style! The chunky cream off-the-shoulder sweater combined with black jeggings and a fun flimsy hat were giving me life!! Then adding in natural brown grass and her personality, seriously friends, it was a photographers dream!! I felt like she had the images I wished I always had of myself during my own senior photo session!
Something fun we’ve started is some inspo for sessions! Senior sessions are an investment and we want you dressed to look stylish and timeless! Here’s some inspo from Janae’s session to get you inspired for your own senior sesh!
Denim Skirt // Mustard Dotted Blouse // Black Off The Shoulders Top // Cream Sweater // Black Denim Jeans
Gold Hoop Earrings // Black Belt // Dainty Heart Necklace // Black Felt Floppy Hat // Gold Stack Bracelets

It looks like she had sooo much fun! And I love the outfit choices! What a great idea to put outfit inspiration at the end of your blog.
Oh I love this session. I love the mustard yellow hat she had. Her whole session was beautiful. Great idea to add the clothing ideas to the bottom so they can look at different looks.
Her smile is gorgeous! I can just tell she is full of joy! Perfect locations and outfits for a senior session!
So many cool locations! As your South Dakota neighbor, it was cool to see all the beauty the Midwest has to offer. I loved her clothing options! That mustard hat was killer!
