BRIANNA || WILBER-CLATONIA HIGH SCHOOL | NEBRASKA SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

I’m so excited to meet the Class of 2022 already!! It’s scary to think it’s time to start booking seniors again, but it’s always such a joy hearing all of their visions and learning about what they’re excited about for their senior year! I thought it’d be fun to do a throwback of Brianna’s senior pictures from last summer to give you some inspo. Here in Nebraska the wild sunflowers always give us a gorgeous pop of color that we take advantage of for senior portraits. Being a Nebraska Senior Photographer truly has it’s perks, and meeting stunning teens is one of them!

Bree was a senior at Wilber-Clatonia High School here in southeast Nebraska. I love that Brianna took the time to carefully choose some of the cutest boutique outfits for her senior pictures. It really does make a difference to pick fun stylized options. If you’re going all out for the location and picking the perfect sunset, you’d better have a stunning outfit to match! Or at least that’s my theory and why I highly recommend to my seniors that they choose and curate outfits that compliment each other. Think of putting all these images together in a book, you want the story to flow together, the outfits to play off each other. You can do this by choosing an overall color palette (neutrals, blue tones, all earthly/flowy outfits).

For Brianna’s session we shot first at a location that was filled with beautiful wild yellow sunflowers. I loved her outfit for that spot, the cute black romper was perfect and popped with the background! I am always been a fan of hats and hers was the perfect accessory for that setting as well. After that, we zipped over to one of my favorite gravel roads here near Wilber, Nebraska and shot more pictures of her. I love doing a free flow style workflow when shooting seniors. We’ll do a couple of posed shots then just work off of movement to capture the most perfect candid shots. Those are of course my seniors favs for Instagram 😉

After that we choose a few more locations around my parents farm to shoot the rest of her outfits and worked to quickly finish up the session right before the clouds moved in on us. I am so thankful that Brianna choose us to shoot her senior pictures. She was literally so pretty and has the best personality! Always so happy and full of smiles!
