Pierce, Nebraska Senior Portraits

If you ask me what is my favorite part about being a senior photographer living in Nebraska is my answer would be short. Farm kids. I’m obsessed learning about each and every Nebraska high school senior who is interested in agriculture. But most of all, I love creating magical photos that encompass their love of the farm.

That is exactly what we did for Pierce, Nebraska senior Luke.

Luke is going to be a senior at Pierce High School this August. I love that he was up for traveling down to our area, he drove almost three hours to get here so we could take his senior pictures on his family farm near DeWitt, Nebraska.

Farm Senior Pictures in Nebraska

For his senior pictures we mixed a little bit of farm boy with a ranch kid. I love that he incorporated in all the things that were important to him. Some of those things included tractors, fences, barns, bins and so much more! Part of your senior pictures should be about what makes you unique! For him, that meant hitting all the parts that make a farm kid stand out in their senior pictures! I love his work ethic, and how much he passion he has for agriculture. But most of all, I love how excited he is about his future in the ag industry!

We started his senior portraits at his grandma’s farm. I love that within walking distance we had some many unique spots we could hit! We choose to use a few of the barns that were perfect for the more causal outfits like the Ariat t-shirts and button up plaid shirt with jeans and boots. Then we moved over the the windmill area and of course swung by the bins to snag some more “farm boy” style senior pictures.

After that we went on a little bit of a road trip and stopped at a pivot in a corn field. I loved that he wanted to incorporate this! Then, my favorite part was when we included his grandpa’s truck. That was such a special and sentimental thing to do! We ended the evening right before the bad storms hit by getting into the corn and snagging some pictures with the corn as well as the irrigation pipe right at sunset.

Luke’s farm senior pictures truly were ones that sparked joy for me. I always love getting back to my roots, and for me, that means playing on the farm and capturing all the things that are included in the ag industry!
