Something I’ve been really focusing on is shooting MORE seniors all across the state of Nebraska. Going out to Hastings, NE for a senior session was just part of meeting more seniors. My absolute passion is being the Best Nebraska High School Senior Photographer, and I’ve been working to get to travel the state as much as possible chasing that. My goal is to expand further and further to meet seniors from across the state. So, when I was contacted and asked if I’d travel to Hastings, I jumped at the opportunity to come meet Oaklyn and visit his favorite places around the area!

Meet Oaklyn

Oaklyn is a senior at Hastings High School. He loves playing football so of course we had to incorporate football pictures into his senior portraits! It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Hastings, Nebraska so I was so excited to get out of my tiny town and head out that way. There were so many pretty locations to shoot at out there. It’s always fun having seniors invite me out and show me around their hometowns. That’s what I love most about shooting seniors! We always mix it up and I never shoot any sessions the same.

I love that his family took the time to find us some great locations including Hastings College then we zipped over to a fun location I’ve never heard of! We stopped over at Brader Country Barn and the location was absolutely stunning!! I’m not from that area so I always trust clients to find me epic locations and this one didn’t disappoint.

Check out another guy senior sesh we held with Trent here. We don’t cater to just girl senior sessions. We actually love our senior guys more! (Shh, don’t tell the girls that!) Senior boys bring an excitement level to their sessions that typically can’t be matched. Mom’s are always worried their sons won’t smile, but typically by the end of the sesh we’ve cracked a smirk or two! Trust me when I promise we’ll get some great smiles from your baby boys. It’s what we do best!
