est. 2013
There are some seniors you meet who instantly light up a room, and Esther is 100% one of those people.
From the moment she stepped out of the car, her energy was contagious. She’s the kind of person who genuinely wants to know your story, who listens, connects, and cares deeply about the people around her. Spending the evening photographing Esther felt less like work and more like catching up with a friend.
Esther is a senior at Waverly High School, and we designed her session to reflect exactly who she is. A person who is driven, kind, and deeply rooted in her passion for agriculture.
One of my favorite parts of Esther’s senior session was how intentionally she chose to highlight her involvement in FFA for her senior pictures. It’s such a huge part of her life, and it deserved to be front and center.
Esther has earned multiple state and national titles, and you can instantly see how much pride and passion she has for the ag world and the friendships she’s made through the years. She’s not just involved, she’s all in. And I have zero doubt she’s going to make a huge impact in the future.
We incorporated her FFA jacket into her senior pictures, highlighting both her accomplishments and everything it represents. These images feel so meaningful because they go beyond just “senior pictures” they tell her story.
Okay but my FAVORITE part?! The inside of her FFA jacket!
She had a handwritten quote stitched inside that says: “Love so radically that people wonder why. Do everything in love – 1 Corinthians 16:14.”
I mean… how cool is that?!
That little detail says everything about who Esther is. It’s not just something she believes — it’s something she lives out daily. And getting to capture that as part of her senior pictures made this session feel extra special.
We paired those moments with soft summer light, open fields, and a relaxed setting to keep everything feeling natural and true to her personality.
Esther is such a perfect example of why I always encourage seniors to bring what matters most to them into their session.
Whether it’s sports, hobbies, or something like FFA, those pieces of your life are what make your photos feel personal and timeless. Esther leaned fully into that, and it made her session unforgettable.
Her kindness, motivation, and genuine love for people shine through in every image, and I feel so lucky I got to capture this season of her life.

If you’re a Waverly High School senior (or attend a high school nearby!) looking for senior pictures that feel like you, I would absolutely love to help you create something meaningful.
Whether that’s FFA, sports, or your own unique story, we’ll build a session around what matters most to you.
