Nebraska City High School | Platte River State Park Senior Pictures

Senior year is such an important time in a person’s life, and capturing it through senior pictures is a must! Jayce is a senior at Nebraska City High School who chose our two-day session option. We’re excited to share the beauty of her first session at Platte River State Park on a late summer day. From bringing her own floral boutique to finding the perfect gravel road at sunset, her session was simply incredible, and we can’t wait to tell you all about it in this blog post!

Waterfall Senior Pictures in Nebraska

The first location we chose for Jayce’s senior pictures was the waterfall area at Platte River State Park near Louisville, Nebraska. It’s a heavily wooded area with a little walking path leading back, which gives ample opportunities to capture stunning spots for her senior pictures. We started shooting in this area, and the pictures came out gorgeous. The lush green trees with leaves rustling in the wind added the perfect touch to the photos, making Jayce look not only beautiful but also very serene and peaceful.

After the waterfall area, we moved over to an open area with natural wildflowers growing in the tall grass. The sunlight was just perfect for capturing Jayce’s outfits and fun personality, and the pop of colors from the flowers made her pictures even more vibrant. Choosing different locations within the same area allows us to capture a varied set of pictures, without spending time moving from location to location. We were able to get different shots, right from close-ups to full-body ones, with the wildflowers adding a beautiful backdrop in each picture.

Gravel Road Senior Pictures in Nebraska

For our last stop, we drove a few miles and found the perfect gravel road. It was filled with a stunning sunset colors. Jayce had brought along a cute little dress that was just perfect for a few candid shots. It was the perfect way to end the day.

Jayce’s senior pictures at Platte River State Park was a true reflection of her beauty and personality. She chose her own floral boutique, which added a unique touch to the pictures and made them even more special. Our choice of locations added to the natural vibe of her pictures. It was a beautiful day at Platte River State Park, and I’m grateful to have been a part of it. Thank you, Jayce, for reminding us that beauty is all around us and that it’s just a matter of how we choose to capture it.
