I am so excited to share the beautiful senior portraits of Madison, a senior at Fairbury High School. We had two separate photoshoots for her special day—one in Lincoln’s Haymarket and another in her hometown of Fairbury, Nebraska. Both sessions were full of fun moments that we captured on camera and I cannot wait to share these photos with you!
Senior Pictures Haymarket in Lincoln, Nebraska
The first session started off at the Haymarket downtown Lincoln. We wanted to capture the vibrant energy of this area, as it is one of Madison’s favorite places. There was plenty of local flavor to incorporate into the shoot and we had a great time exploring the different parts of the city. We took pictures in front of murals, old buildings, and even found some unique backdrops like alleys and hidden stairways. It was a great way to get creative with our shots and make them stand out!
We also do a few quick shots over at Pioneers Park for Madison’s senior pictures. It’s a short drive and she wanted to include a little bit of greenery so it was the best of both worlds. I love that there’s so much within such a short distance you can get a few totally different looks with just a quick drive.
Fairbury, Nebraska Senior Portraits at the High School
The second session was held in Madison’s hometown of Fairbury, Nebraska. I love that this year we started offering mini senior session add-on’s for session situations just like this! We wanted to do some to incorporate her sports but we didn’t need a full afternoon in Fairbury. That’s where this half hour mini’s come in handy! This session was more relaxed and focused on capturing Madison’s personality and her involvement in sports. I love that she wanted to include her letterman jacket in her senior pictures! It’s very rare I get to see them anymore and they’re so nostalgic! She is an outgoing person who loves spending time outdoors, so we explored different scenic locations around town that allowed us to take advantage of natural light. We took some stunning shots on the track and then ended up at a very sentimental place—the train depot! What a perfect way to end our day together!
I had such an amazing time photographing Madison during both sessions! I believe we captured her true spirit through each photo; from her bright smile shining through downtown Lincoln to her relaxed demeanor while surrounded by nature back home in Fairbury. It was such an honor for me to document this special time for Madison as she begins this new chapter in life—a chapter full of adventure and possibility! Congratulations on your upcoming graduation, Madison!
