There are not many things in this world today that everyone will understand, such as language, dialect, and culture, with that being said there is one thing that that doesn’t matter what language you speak, or where you are from, one thing that unites us and one thing that is universal, that one thing is photography. Photography is one of the greatest forms of art in today’s world, it not only brings us together, but it tells a story, and allows us to see the world through someone else’s perspective.

I loved working with Alexa because we really took the time to get to planning and styling. One of the biggest suggestions I recommend to my high school seniors is to sit down and really think about outfits that fit well and will look beautiful with the locations you’ve chosen.

One of my absolute favorite parts of photographing senior portrait sessions is getting to know the high school seniors. I love hearing all of their fears, excitements, trials and triumphs or their upcoming senior year. Sometimes it’s nice to be reminded what seniors have to go through versus what I went through my senior year. I can remember, for myself, my senior year my biggest concern was prom and if my besties were in my classes so we could plan free periods around our gossip. Today, seniors have so many more things on their plate and with all of the restrictions, it’s sometimes scary and overwhelming!
